Parrotfish, Hogfish and Razorfish (Labridae)

Some of the Wrasses (Labridae) like Stoplight Parrotfish (Sparisoma viride), Moontail (Scarus vetula), Yellowtail Parrotfish (Sparisoma rubripinne), Midnight Parrotfish (Scarus coelestinus), Rainbow Parrotfish (Scarus guacamaia), Hogfish (Lachnolaimus maximus) and Rosy Razorfish (Xyrichtys martinicensis) that inhabit the bottom of the caribbean sea of Mexico (Playa del Carmen, Cozumel). Most of them feed on dead coral reef and excrete sand, it is possible to hear the sound of the gnaw of the fish when eating. Listen carefully!
