This is the music video I directed for Israeli singer Efrat gosh. It was the first single of her second album. This video is inspired by Sinead O'Connor's video for “nothing compares“. I'm always fascinated by the human face and how much emotion it can express. I wanted to give the audience the opportunity to be as close and intimate as possible to Efrat Gosh. It isn't easy for a singer to deliver a perfect performance for the entire length of a song. I was fortunate to work with such an amazing singer! Efrat was shot in front of a blue screen with a rig of lights around her. Our Gaffer, Ami Jacobs, changed the lights according to the music. The drawings on the background where made by the talented painter Rachel Kainy. They were recorded and animated using a technique I invented for this video (and I used again for Keren Peles's “Mabul“). More from Efrat gosh on her myspace here: More of my work:
