In 1984, I wrote, produced, and shot a half hour TV pilot with Heather Dawn for a show I called Possible Dreams, a Twilight Zone-ish anthology loosely adapting Bible stories as sci-fi and horror tales. The pilot, “Fool’s Paradise,“ about an alcoholic cartoonist whose creations are coming to life, co-starred the late Tommy Gray as “Mr. Cricket,“ a devilish character who tricks a comic strip character into transitioning over to the real world.
