The siege of Buda in 1686 was fought between the Holy League and the Ottoman Empire, ending almost 150 years of Turkish rule. Although Eugene played a minor role in the siege, it was during these early encounters of the Long Turkish War that he made a name for himself and rose through the ranks. 🚩 This video was made in collaboration with our friend House of History Don’t forget to check out his channel. 🚩 Support HistoryMarche on Patreon and for as little as $1 per video you get ad-free early access to our videos: 📢 Narrated by David McCallion 🎼 Music: Filmstro 📚 Sources: Abbott, J.
