In the same season he also sang the role of The Duke in “Rigoletto“. Pollicino sang in Malta, at the Royal Theatre in Valletta in the 1920-1921 season making his debut as Turiddu in “Cavalleria Rusticana“. During this season in Malta he also sang the tenor roles in ‘’Carmen’’, ‘’Lohengrin’’, ‘’Lucia di Lammermoor’’, ‘’La Traviata’’ and ‘’Tosca’’.
