02-02-2022 Peoria, IL - Highway blocked by multiple stuck cars, crashes

***NOT FOR BROADCAST*** Contact Brett Adair with Live Storms Media to license. brett@ PEORIA Illinois - I-74 Westbound through downtown Peoria near the hospitals was mostly blocked and nearly impassable due to heavy snow and several other stuck vehicles and trucks. This occurred during the morning commute at approximately 7:15 a.m. as heavy snow rates of more than one inch per hour took place. More than 20 vehicles were involved in this blockage. Members of the Iowa State Police, County Sheriff Deputies and City of Peoria Police Officers were assisting stuck motorists. EMBARGO: KWWL, KCRG
