Open full description for more Information. --------------------------------------------- Here you find some of my SCREWS ON SALE: Before coming to this Tail Vise, i took my time to get known with Thread-making. I used different woodspecies, soaked for shorter or longer time in natural linseed oil, turned at once or in sections. To soak them at least one week has been a good test for my patience. For the wood-species: Alder and Birch turn out very well, also Mountains-Ash seems to be good, but bit more difficult. It tends to get ripped. I´ll keep on trying, as it is so nice wood! If you are interested in how the tools for the threads are made, just take a look; i made a video on each tools: Tap: Dye or ScrewBox: As you might have seen, i did not use my Dowel-Maker this time. Like so often in life things get better, when we trust and allow simplicity. In this case, to just use a plane. It worked very well, more accurate and without any tear out. And here is, how i made the Leg-Vise: Hopefully this video will be of some use or inspiration for your own projects. If you have any questions, just write it into the comments.
