Several thousand anti-government protesters took part in a ’unification with Romania’ march in Chisinau on Sunday. The demonstration marks 98 years since the now non-existent Moldavian Democratic Republic was unified with Romania. According to authorities, some 5,000 to 6,000 protesters attended the rally.
