During the 2007 V8Supercar Championship Series Perkins Engineering (also known as Jack Daniel’s Racing) ran two Rookie Drivers in Shane Price and Jack Perkins. Thanks to GM Holden, Mark Skaife made himself available to drive the #7 Jack Daniel’s Racing VE Commodore PE 045, in an effort to help out the two rookies extracting more speed from the cars and indeed themselves.
