Benkei the Warrior Monk (1997) sub

A subsciption service specializing of SAMURAI & NINJA contents has started! ＜STORY＞After a fight with the corrupt priests of Shoshazan Enkyoji, Benkei (played by Ken Matsudaira) burned down their grand temple and fled. He eventually made his way to Kyoto, where he began stealing the swords of the samurai of the Heike clan on the Gojo Bridge. It was on his thousandth sword that he encountered a young man named Ushiwakamaru (played by Kazuhiko Nishimura), who at first glance seemed like a woman. Benkei was impressed by this young man, who was stronger than any opponent he had faced before, and offered to become his retainer. This young man was none other than the son of the Genji clan, who would later become known as Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
