Many Webleys have had their cylinders trimmed a few millimeters to accept the commonly available 45acp rounds using moon clips. This detracts from the collector value and also makes them more dangerous to shoot, depending on the gun's vintage. If you have a modified Webley, it is usually recommended to shoot light-powered loads, especially if it's a black powder gun like this one. In this short video, I show what an altered gun looks like, and what to look for if you're shopping at a gun show or gun store.
