My first flight of an ornithopter, SK Lazy Hawk (no longer in production) It is different from any RC plane I have ever flown before and the flight was thrilling in more ways than one. From the almost crash take off to the hard landing approximately 4 minutes later, the severe unexpected pitch changes during starting and stopping flapping and changes in control sensitivity during different modes of flight kept me alert and nervous.
