A Day Unlike Today was written about a day after I received life changing news. It was a day that my best friend and great musician had taken his life. It was the most unbelievable, surreal and life changing news that I have ever received. As we all experience heavy, life changing moments in our own lives, this is how I felt that day and many days that followed. Sorrow, sadness, confusion, anger and a dark empty space that would never provide light or answers. It was a day unlike any other day I have ever experienced in my life, A Day Unlike Today.
