Russia has suffered a major defeat overnight as Ukrainian forces took more settlements in rapid advances. Russians are still surrendering in large numbers as the Ukrainian push is still unstoppable. Russia's air force was crippled overnight as Ukraine struck two large airbases, impacts being reported at both. One housed some of Russia's most rare interceptors, the MiG-31; the other housed SU-34s vital to the defense of Kursk. An SU-34 bomber was also shot down over Kursk by Ukraine today as well, and a major friendly fire incident was also reported, where one Russian Mi-28 wiped out an entire retreating Russian convoy.
