I designed a modern Adirondack chair because I've found most to sit too low for my taste. Also, I wanted to add a more modern flair to it. I sought out initially to make a modern lounge chair but as I looked at it more I found it to be more fitting as an Adirondack. So here we are! I made mine out of eucalyptus but I would recommend something that isn't so hard such as cedar, sapele or white oak.
