Reel 2. Two insect parasites attack the woodwasp. The first, Ibalia leucospoides lays her eggs inside the bodies of the woodwasp larvae. She lays her eggs on the outside of the woodwasp's body. We see female Rhyssa looking for woodwasps. She inserts her egg laying drill through the solid wood to lay her eggs.
