Marianas Trench (Short)

This is a condensed edit done in 2010 from a 60 minute original master created in 1994. This edit has been created in order to present this video within the constraints of YouTube upload limits. Marianas Trench is something of a multi-generational ambient video. Original source material goes back as far as 1986 for a multi-media presentation entitled The Horns of a Dilemma. In this state, the video went through two phases, an initial rough edit done using 8mm & VHS in 1986 and a refined, reprocessed version done on 3/4“ video in 1987. The material from the 1987 edit was again reprocessed and combined with additional material created or “obtained“ in 1994.
