Corryvrechan were pleased to be guided by one of the devisers of this energetic reel, Captain Andy Colquhoun, during rehearsals prior to its first public outing at the Llangollen International Music Festival in July 2010. The dance was written by two officers from the Black Watch, 3rd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland while serving as the Regional Battle Group South based in Kandahar in 2009.
