There are five balloon dogs by Jeff Koons. Each piece is made of mirror-polished, precision stainless steel that has been coated in a translucent layer of blue, magenta, orange, red, or yellow. Koons has captured a moment in time by utilizing the recognizable form of a twisted balloon in the shape of a dog and exaggerating both the scale and the material. As you get closer, its own distorted reflection follows its smooth, sly curves. The piece is made up of a variety of shapes, none of which can be compared to a section of a dog's body. Jeff Koons Balloon Dog appears to be pierceable with a pin. The air is trying to escape, and you can feel it rubbing against the inner surface of the steel. Balloon Dog appears to be squeezeable. 🔴 Subscribe to not miss the next videos: @ArtTheory_?s... 🎬 CHECK OUT OUR OTHER VIDEOS ► Installation Art: ► Minimalism Art:
