군사정찰위성 2•3호기, 4월•11월 미국 플로리다서 발사 South Korea will launch two reconnaissance satellites this year. According to Seoul's Defense Acquisition Program Administration on this Monday the synthetic-aperture radar satellites will take off on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket the first in April and the second in November both from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The satellites are expected to better detect potential nuclear or missile assaults from North Korea. South Korea placed its first spy satellite in space earlier in December also on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
