A beautiful eruption of plasma registering as an M4.8 solar flare was just observed at 14:11 UTC (6/3/2024) and involved both AR 3691 and 3695 in the northwest quadrant. Somewhat of a coronal mass ejection (CME) will be likely, however judging by the way the eruption unfolded, the trajectory should be mostly north of the Sun-Earth line. This event is in addition to two other M-Flares today so far, an M3.2 and M2.8 were observed around AR 3697 in the southern hemisphere.
