An axial flow turbine is installed at the exit of the vehicle’s exhaust tip. The turbine serves as a source of back-pressure during acceleration which was lost by the 2.5“ diameter exhaust piping upgrade. Upon throttle closure, the turbine scavenges the back-pressure in the exhaust system.
