Gill Dummigan, Health Correspondent for BBC North West Tonight, spent time at Royal Blackburn Hospital in May 2020, documenting the East Lancashire response to the COVID-19 outbreak. For staff working on the Critical Care Unit, putting on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has become part of the daily routine. Although it's essential, PPE can make working difficult. This episode was aired on 11 May 2020 on BBC1. *The BBC replaced all PPE used whilst filming this footage.
