▼Synopsis In the final days of the Edo period, a once-fearsome and respected swordsman has fallen on hard times, living as a ronin. Desperate for work, he reluctantly accepts a job: to kill a cat. This supposed demon cat is said to possess a magical charm that makes its owner completely infatuated. However, the encounter with this small creature brings unexpected changes to the ronin's life, transforming his bleak existence in vivid ways. In the end, Kyutaro hides the white cat Tamanojo, not a demon cat after all. He deceives Sakichi by giving him a pot with an exorcism charm, claiming it's a “cat pot“ that contains the spirit.
