UAC has shown a new Russian composite fiber laying robot that will be used for mass production of the “black“ wing of the MS-21 airliner. The robot, developed in the Moscow company “AeroComposite“, automatically lays dry carbon fiber tape, which forms the future airplane part layer by layer, and the laser heats and glues it layer by layer. Continuity of the whole process is ensured by a 3000 to 3500 meters long tape rolled up on a spool. It has already been tested, confirmed its characteristics in a laboratory in Moscow and is now ready to go into production. Of course, this technology can also be used in the production of drones. Especially since UAC is already taking steps in this direction. Источник: Slavyangrad
