Here for your consideration is a 1953 Gillette President Refurbished Re-Plated Razor Y2. Its' date code is Y2, meaning it was made in the second quarter of that year. It has a one-piece twist to open (TTO) design. It Is Fully Re-Plated, in Rhodium. This razor is in Refurbished Re-Plated Condition. The underside of the head, top, says “REG U.S. / PAT. OFF. / [date code],“ and the underside, bottom, says “[Gillette diamond logo] / MADE IN .“ The razor's weight is 67 g / oz.
