Titles read: 'Canine Explorers'. Location of events unknown - probably somewhere in the Arctic. Several shots of huskies pulling a expedition sledge across the snow. A man gives one of the dogs a cuddle. Shots of the dogs lying down in the snow to have a little sleep before they have to start off again. At the expedition camp we see the dogs coming out of a hole in the snow that has been dug to protect them against the wind and blizzards. The dogs are fed hot corn meal mush, dried salmon and beef tallow. The next morning the dogs are examined and harnessed to the sledge. While the men try to break through an ice barrier the dogs are kept tethered. We see two that have broken loose and fell into a crevice being rescued by a man who has been lowered down the 70 foot chasm. The dogs are hauled up. A man examines one of the dogs and tickles his tummy. Several shots of the dogs in the team. A man feeds them titbits. The dogs move off again, pulling the sleigh. It almost looks like they a
