Baby Zebra Sharks

We’re pretty sure you remember when these baby zebra sharks were born, as it was our most watched video of 2019! Well, they are quite grown up now and their training is at an advanced stage. They are now very familiar with the stretcher and the contact with their caregivers. For us, it is incredibly special to see them grow, as this was the first place which succeeded in breeding a zebra shark for the first time in Spain and, after that milestone, the Aquarium team has continued to breed them successfully and contributing to the conservation of a species that is currently in danger of extinction, as their population has decreased by more than 50% in the last 50 years.
