This video explains the differences between Silicone Sex Dolls and TPE Sex Dolls. It also covers the pros and cons of these different Sex Dolls. One of the biggest decisions when buying a sex doll is whether you want it made of TPE or Silicone. TPE Sex Doll Pros: TPE skin is softer and stretchier and feels more realistic, Also, butt and boobs jiggle more realistically. TPE is more affordable. Range is about $1000 for a 5’ doll to $1600 for 5’ 6” ish doll. Many Silicone Sex Dolls even 5’ are over $2000. TPE is more flexible, allows easier handling of doll TPE Retains heat better but not great with high temps TPE Sex Doll Cons: TPE can tear and split when stretched for long periods of time. The main issue WE found was that keeping limbs like arms and legs bent leads to splitting and cracking. TPE Can get stained from colored clothing especially darker colors TPE is more porous. Moisture left inside vaginal and anal cavities over time, can result in growing mold. Silicone Sex Doll Pros: Silicone seems more durable than TPE. We’ve had this silicone doll for about 2 years and NO damage or color fade at all. Silicone retains more realistic details and skin texture. Vagina, Nipples and Butthole details are more realistic. Silicone dolls can take a hot bath, TPE dolls should not. Silicone is more resilient to mold and bacteria. Silicone is less susceptible to stains whereas TPE stains kinda easily. Silicone sex dolls require less maintenance than TPE sex dolls. Silicone Sex Doll Cons: Silicone is more sticky than TPE but can be fixed with baby powder Silicone is more expensive. Silicone isn’t as soft as TPE and doesn’t feel as realistic. We’re kinda rough with the dolls we have and a few of the TPE dolls here show some signs of damage, mostly cracking and splitting from leaving the arms and legs bent. Plus I’m not a maintenance kind of guy so my choice would be silicone. You just can’t beat the details, skin texture and durability. The silicone doll we have still looks great and I would sacrifice the realistic jiggliness for durability.
