In 2015 Luminis teamed up with Reiza Studios, a Brazilian development studio of racing games and simulators to create their latest racing simulation called Automobilista Motorsports Simulator. Recently released on Steam, this title puts you in the driving seat of an advanced racing simulator to deliver a uniquely diverse motorsports experience! In this talk we describe how this simulator evolved from their previous products and how various advanced new features like dynamic track conditions, tyre flat spots, air density differences and various graphics and audio effects were designed and implemented. We will also talk about how such simulations are architected, touching on all the major components and how they collaborate. Of course we will also show a lot of footage to illustrate our story and at the conference we have a professional simulator where you can try it out yourself.
