“Totally Pulverized“ is the debut encoffination by Pulverized Necrobrains, a death metal band from Colorado, USA. When I first found this demo I admit I was expecting your general murky, gross and low-tuned sewer death metal. The intro went by, then the first riff came - I still expected the same. But fucking hell when their second riff hit I was dumbfounded. This 3-piece band is doing fucking Demilich worship - for those of you that don't know, Demilich is easily in my top 5 death metal bands of all time. Of course I would love this demo! I cherish all Demilich worship i get in my hands, these lads even got the guitar and bass tones pretty much right, all they miss is the true frog vocals (but cmon I dont think anyone will ever top Boman's, so I'm not even complaining). Oh, and what was that in the last track? A disEMBOWELMENT passage? Did I hear that right? Fucking hell these dudes just show so much potential.
