I'm a huge April fan, I find her funny, kind and beautiful, in a bit uptight and neurotic and manic rule following kind of way. Although the writers put her through more failures than successes, I don't find her pathetic, but rather optimistic and refreshing. I'm glad the writers paired her with Jackson (I also liked her attempt of a thing with Alex, which left a weird tension between them, but I feel neither she nor Alex were right for each other at that point).
