Milford Sound is a fiord with temperate rainforests in Fiordland National Park, located in the southwest of the South Island, New Zealand. Unlike the fjords in Norway, the valleys are covered with dense ferns. The drive begins at Milford Sound Public Carpark and heads to Te Anau, the nearest town to Milford Sound.
