Violectric DHA V226: DA conversion, headphone amplifier and control centre for Violectric introduces the DHA V226, a high-quality compact solution for discerning hifi applications. The high-resolution converter unit accepts digital audio in 32 bits at 384 kHz as well as DSD 256 via USB-C. The converted signal then passes through a high-end Violectric headphone amplifier to the 4-pin XLR, Pentaconn and jack outputs. The innovative circuitry allows for a large number of different headphone types to be operated, from high-impedance to low-impedance to magnetostatic models. Very low noise and minimal distortion realize an exceptionally clear, detailed playback. Two analogue RCA inputs and an analogue RCA out serve to integrate the DHA V226 into existing hifi setups, making it the central hub. Assembled in the company’s own manufacture near Lake Constance, outstanding craftsmanship and top-shelf components ensure Violectric quality at its best. Gauting, Germany, 18t
