Join me for a walk around one of Yorkshire's great industrial towns, Todmorden - once peculiarly separated in two with the county's famous foe of Lancashire. Today fully a part of Yorkshire, Todmorden counts on fantastic links to major cities in both counties, along with a picturesque stretch of the Rochdale Canal and a whole host of elegant Victorian buildings! On our walk around Todmorden, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including Todmorden Town Hall, Bramsche Square, Todmorden Central Methodist Church, The Pub, Todmorden Market Hall, the River Calder, Todmorden Viaduct, Todmorden Bus Station, St. Mary's Church, Walsden Water, Water Street, The Royal George Inn, Todmorden General Library, the Rochdale Canal, Lock 19 (a guillotine lock) and the Todmorden Hippodrome.
