The creative director and screenwriter was Neil Drakmann. The music for the game was written by composer Gustavo Santaolaglia. The Last of Us was highly praised by critics for the narration, the development of the relationships of the main characters, as well as for the visual and sound design. The game has received many awards, including in the nomination “Game of the Year“. The Last of Us became a commercial success: in the first week, sales amounted to more than 1.3 million copies of the game, and by April 2018, the combined sales of all editions of the game exceeded 17 million copies.
