Shoulder taps in a push-up position definitely addresses asymmetries that you might have in the Spiral Line. The Spiral Line is responsible for providing stability and balance in all planes (sagittal, frontal, and transverse). With this exercise, try to minimize rotation of the hips and excessive weight shifting during the shoulder tap. Hold the shoulder tap for 2 secs each. Perform for 1 min.
