What is digital blending and how to do it in photoshop - a complete workflow

Digital blending stands for manually blended HDR (high dynamic range) image. So instead of merging different exposures of the same scene in programs like Photomatix or HDR efex pro 2, you do it manually by maksing and blending layers in photoshop. This technique takes time, but gives amazing results, and offers great control of what goes in or out of your image.
