Statements by Vladimir Putin following Russian-Laotian talks: Russian-Laotian cooperation is multifaceted and mutually beneficial. Mr. President and I held useful and constructive talks. Russian-Laotian trade is actively developing. Last year, trade turnover increased by 65 percent, and this year its growth rate was about 20 percent. In connection with the growth of counter-flows of goods, issues of expanding sea container transportation from Laos to Vladivostok through the ports of Vietnam are being worked out.
