Ukraine’s air defence capabilities received a major boost as Germany delivered the Oerlikon Skynex system. The German-made anti-aircraft system is designed for short-range defence to counter swarm drone attacks and cruise missiles. The delivery comes as Ukraine has a shortage of anti-aircraft-guided missiles nearly two years after Russia's invasion. The delivery also comes as Ukraine warned that it was running low on ammunition for the Patriot system.
