Natya's pradhana angam. An Avadhana Kale (Art) in which a person wielding the cymbals not only recites the sollukattus (bhols) but also plays different mathematical permutations and combinations. Along with this the Nattuvanar adds necessary bhava to support the dancer. He is totally in charge of the entire music ensemble and acts as a link between the dancer and the musicians. Carnatic Collective 2 - a series curated by Udupa Foundation, has ensembles of Carnatic music involving an array of musicians and dancers. Each episode is specially arranged and composed by the revered Vidwan's and Vidushi's.
