Just a quick edit: Some in Europe have seen Kromsa reach just under 4 inches. Aves Creek is an unknown of size so far. Will keep updated when I know for sure. This is a look at one of the hobby's favorite and well known rainbowfish. But is it as well understood as we think it is? I go over various strains of Boesemani that are obtainable in the hobby such as the commercial Ayamaru form as well as its tributaries such as Kromsa and Aves Creek. I also clarify the verbiage surrounding the Aytinjo location and the mistake Heiko Bleher made when documenting Lake Uter. I touch on the newly discovered Kali Fitri fish that Hans Evers found as well as some of the relatives of the Boesemani. These fish include other rainbow fish from the Bird's Head peninsula such as Melanotaenia Fasinensis and Melanotaenia Ajamaruensis. There are even contradictions in regards to the care and water parameters needed to sustain this fish. But I guarantee you there is really only one thing that you really need to keep this fish and it shouldn't come as a surprise. I tried to keep the video informative, yet entertaining. The addition of memes were fun for me but I also withheld some of them and also forgot to add a couple things. Editing in the twilight hours of the night does something to the brain lol..
