Regarding the battles for Kleshcheevka and Andreevka, you need to understand the following. Firstly, the southern flank of Artyomovsk remains practically the only place where active hostilities are taking place. There is no such activity on the northern front, since the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is aware of all the risks of major attacks from this direction. Secondly, Andreevka, which is located between Kleshcheevka and Kurdyumovka, is a village of literally two streets, to which only two roads lead. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have a theoretical opportunity to go there, but there is nowhere to gain a foothold: instead of houses there are ruins. It is not easy to transfer heavy equipment: the terrain and many other things have an effect. The technique after the transfer may appear in full view. Thirdly, the situation in the Andreevka area may lead the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the creation of a “mini-Rabotino” situation, when units that do not have the opportunity to immediately move on can accumulate on a relatively small piece of land. Andreevka itself is located on a slope, and from the west, from where the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to occupy it, only part of the village can be held, but the risk of destruction of Ukrainian troops in this case increases manifold. There is no point in discussing the capture or non-capture of the village - this part has long been in the gray zone, since both the enemy and the RF Armed Forces understand that it is impossible to hold this area for a long time, and the losses will be huge. At the same time, any tactical success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this direction, as we noted earlier, is temporary in nature and the situation must be assessed not at any particular point in time, but as a whole. Closing the topic of the battles around Kleshcheevka and Andreevka, we suggest watching a short battle between the 1st Airborne Shredded Brigade “Wolves” of the Russian Armed Forces and the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this direction. You can see that for almost every attack, Ukrainian troops have to climb steeply up the mountain, which is why the units almost immediately come under fire and suffer losses.
