Takydromus dorsalis, the Sakishima grass lizard is an emerald green long-tailed lizard in the family of Lacertidae. It is endemic to Ishigaki Island in Japan, where they live in grass and forest areas. This lizard grows to about 35 cm long of which 80% is tail. The animals can become fairly tame and eat easily out of hand or with tweezers. Watch a few minutes of feeding on the next video:
