Charles E. Burchfield 1893-1967 from Western NY painted Nature, Scenes and Dreamscapes with a watercolor mood and imagination. Here's an overview of Buffalo's beautiful new art gallery, dedicated to Burchfield's artistic legacy. The Burchfield Penney Art Center, located at Buffalo State College took nearly 2 years to build and over $33 million. The Grand Opening Celebration was the weekend of November 22, 2008 and attracted tens of thousands during the free viewing through the 30th. Featuring exhibitions of Charles E.
