Washtenaw County Judge J. Cedric Simpson was in disbelief as defendant Corey Harris joined court via Zoom while driving with what Simpson believed was a suspended driver’s license. But what the judge and no one in the courtroom apparently knew was that another judge had rescinded Harris’ license suspension in January 2022, according to Saginaw County court records obtained by USA TODAY.
