What Johan says about this song: This song was made in a few hours last summer. It’s a story about the two sides of a human being I think everyone can relate to, everyone has them. I think Markus (MAWE) needed that feeling where he could be in a room alone, and really get into what he was singing about, not how he did it. There was no time to set up a proper microphone at this point. Therefore, the final version of Monster vs. Angel was fully recorded on a phone voice memo, just like “Bob’s Beat”, but I think we managed to capture it as intended.
