The smallest owl at the Southeastern Raptor Center currently is the Eastern Screech-Owl. However, these are not the smallest species of owls in Alabama! The Saw-whet Owl is even smaller than these Eastern Screech-Owls. These owls are sure to make you say “awwww!“
