Waldorf Pulse + Russian Filter Sequences and Melodies

This video shows the Waldorf Pulse, expanded with the Russian Filter. More about that Filter Upgrade: The Russian Filter Upgrade offers low pass and band pass filter modes for the Waldorf Pulse. Oscillator 3 can be used as modulator for the filter cutoff frequency. The original Pulse filter is retained and can be used at any time if requested. The Russian Filter sound is creamy and powerful, like the great Synthesizer built by Vladimir Kuzmin in the 1980s. Higher oscillator levels produce juicy saturation effects. With stronger resonances, the filter begins to scream passionately and still keeps it´s level. Filter modulations in the audio range by Oscillator 3 create spectacular effects in a simple way - previously impossible for the Pulse. While Logic was performing the MIDI sequences, the Pulse´s parameters were modified in real time using a MIDI Controller. Little effects were added and the first sequence is enhanced with a pretty simple drum pattern. Enjoy and and have fun!
