While observing a Taliban ran town in Logar province Afghanistan. We were attacked by the Taliban from multiple locations. They were primarily using AK-47 and some PKM. I had made the decision alongside my senior medic. To remain on the ground in case of a potential injury. We both did want to join in but it is our responsibility to take care of everyone.
